Read all of the notes below. They go from easy to difficult. Much of it is review, but it is presented in a way
to make mid-latitude weather systems easier to understand, so it's worth reading through the parts you already know.
Read Text Chapter 10 pp. 265-297. It is one of the better chapters in the book and worth reading before the
investigations.
