Meteorology department freshment went to the summit of East Haven
mountain for their GEU (General Education Unit course) field trip.
The site is an abandoned Air Force radar base that is the future site
of the East Haven Wind
Farm. The president, Mathew Rubin, spoke to the students
explaining the project and gave a tour of the future site. Following
the trip, we had a BBQ at Dr. Atkins house in Littleton, NH.
The remnants of Hurricane Isabelle passed through the region while
the group was touring the site.
