Combs Forecast Posted on Monday Sep 28, 2009 10:37 ** The latest forecast for Northeast** ** including Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex Counties** Forecast Discussion: After a weekend of both blue skies filled of sunshine and gray skies full of rain, the Northeast Kingdom prepares for another mixed start for the workweek. Sunday's cold front is now out to sea, and Monday should see conditions improving for the first part of the day with mostly sunny skies. However, the first of 2 cold fronts to move through will proceed by Midnight on Tuesday, bringing showers into the early morning hours with fog in the valleys. Once this passes, a wedge of drier air will work its way in, making the majority of Tuesday salvageable with some sunshine. However, front #2 will move into the region by Tuesday night, setting up for a near-copy of Sunday on Wednesday, with widespread rainfall and gusty West winds behind the front.
