LSC Northeast Kingdom Forecast Student Meteorologist: Timothy Lavigne Forecast Posted on Friday Sep 25, 2009 11:53 ** The latest forecast for Northeast** ** including Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex Counties** Forecast Discussion: With the most recent cold front to pass long out of the picture, and high pressure building in, it is going to be a cold start to our weekend. with gusty winds today, and a dry airmass in place, temps will struggle to get to the low 60's. tonight any plants that have survived this long will most definitely have to be taken care of because temperatures are likely to get below freezing, but it would seem that fog is not as likely based on the fact that calm winds will not be present in the kingdom overnight tonight. tomorrow looks to be the diamond of the weekend with warm temperatures and calm winds, but sunday is looking to be a washout as we have a complex low pressure system moving into the great lakes region that is likely to produce some rather rainy and cold weather for the beginning of the work week.
