Although it is still located just across the Canadian border, the rain associated with it will make for a soggy Wednesday evening. After the front passes tonight, partial clearing and drier air will be carried into the region on Northwest winds. Another batch of cloudiness will approach heading into Thursday evening as a reinforcing shot of cool air advances towards the Northeast US. Mostly sunny and cooler on Friday as high pressure (with origins in northern Canada) builds south towards New England. Heading into the weekend, it appears to be mostly sunny and warmer Saturday, with the next chance of showers arriving Sunday. Wednesday Afternoon (Sep 23, 2009) Overcast with rain developing.
