Combs Forecast Posted on Monday Sep 21, 2009 10:49 ** The latest forecast for Northeast** ** including Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex Counties** Forecast Discussion: A fantastic stretch of weather will come to an abrupt halt over the next 2 days here in Northern Vermont. This past weekend we saw sunny skies and temperatures warmer than average for this time of year, and Monday will continue this stretch with clear skies, so get out and enjoy this wonderful weather. As Monday night moves in, a cold front associated with a weakening low pressure area will move east-northeastward, and increase cloud coverage towards the morning on Tuesday. This slow-moving front will make for a gray, cloudy Tuesday with the threat of an isolated shower or two, and by Tuesday evening the precipitation should become more widespread in nature. By Wednesday, the frontal precipitation will be over our region in full, making for a wet middle of the workweek. Monday Afternoon (Sep 21, 2009) Sunny skies. Light south winds.
