LSC Northeast Kingdom Forecast Student Meteorologist: Timothy Studebaker Forecast Posted on Thursday Sep 10, 2009 12:19 ** The latest forecast for Northeast** ** including Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex Counties** Forecast Discussion: High pressure continues to bring us clear, sunny conditions Thursday. However, a low pressure system is trying to throw some clouds at us as it backs into the area from the southeast. We will start to see some high clouds moving in, but overall the high pressure currently in place will prevent most of the moisture from arriving. Those high clouds will increase throughout the day on Friday and will stick around overnight into Saturday. Overall, the weekend looks to feature more sun than clouds, but with a weak frontal passage on Sunday and another on Monday, there will be periods of increased cloudiness. These fronts do not have a lot of moisture associated with them, so chances for precipitation remain low, but a shower cannot be absolutely ruled out.
