LSC Northeast Kingdom Forecast Student Meteorologist: Garrett D. Combs Forecast Posted on Monday Oct 26, 2009 10:36 ** The latest forecast for Northeastern Vermont ** ** including Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex Counties ** Forecast Discussion: Two areas of low pressure look to put a damper on our weather for the first half of this last full October week. After a soggy Saturday, we recovered nicely on Sunday with mostly sunny skies and breezy winds, and Monday will see much of the same with seasonable temperatures with lighter winds than Sunday. The first low pressure area will skirt to our North overnight Monday, touching off a few scattered rain/snow showers into Tuesday morning. Once this low clears out, Tuesday will gradually turn mostly sunny, pending the arrival of low #2. Latest model runs have been less consistent with the track of this low and its associated precipitation, but it looks as though we will experience a few showers late into Wednesday afternoon before it clears out.
