LSC Northeast Kingdom Forecast Student Meteorologist: Garrett D. Combs Forecast Posted on Monday Oct 19, 2009 10:32 ** The latest forecast for Northeastern Vermont ** ** including Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex Counties ** Forecast Discussion: After the first official signs of Winter graced our area, we look to return to average conditions over the next few days. An area of low pressure to our East is now off the coast and moving out to sea. In its wake high pressure will build in, giving us a sunny Monday. However, low pressure to our North in Canada will skirt by overnight Monday into Tuesday, giving an isolated rain shower before quickly exiting. Tuesday should warm up slightly to near-average before a cold front with that low trails through Tuesday night. There should be sufficient cloud cover hanging around to keep Tuesday night's lows warmer than Monday night's, while another area of high pressure moves in behind the front, making for a dry day on Wednesday.
