LSC Northeast Kingdom Forecast Student Meteorologist: Steve Breault Forecast Posted on Friday Oct 2, 2009 14:54 ** The latest forecast for Northeast** ** including Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex Counties** Forecast Discussion: Cloudiness will be the theme heading into this weekend as a storm system currently over the upper midwest slowly crawls east. The front associated with this system will be approaching through Saturday evening. Showers and steady rain will develop in advance of this feature beginning Friday evening and lasting throughout the day Saturday. The front will have long passed by Sunday, but a storm in the upper atmosphere will remain over the Great Lakes. This will make it hard to clear our skies. On the "bright" side, temperatures will be relatively milder by the end of the weekend. Friday Afternoon (Oct 02, 2009) Cloudy. Light south wind. Highs in the lower 50s.
