Forecast Discussion:
The past couple of days have featured our first real taste of Fall weather.
Temperatures have cooled considerably with cloudy skies. Unsettled weather
looks to continue for Thursday night, with clouds and widely scattered showers.
Snow showers are possible in higher elevations. On Friday, a narrow ridge of
high pressure moves in, briefly giving us some breaking clouds and occasional
sunshine, with slightly warmer temperatures. Overnight Friday, rain and clouds
begin to move in with the approach of a low pressure system. Rain continues to
affect the area on Saturday as a warm front passes through. The showers begin
to diminish on Sunday morning, and skies begin to clear by afternoon. Sunday
will be warmer with winds turning from the south and increasing sunshine.

Mostly cloudy. Low temperatures around 35-40 degrees. Widely scattered rain
showers at lower elevations and possible snow showers at higher elevations.
Light west winds.

Friday  (Oct 02, 2009)
Mostly cloudy with occasional sunshine breaking through the clouds. Warmer,
with highs around 53-58. Light west winds.

Friday Night (Oct 02, 2009)
Rain and clouds moving in overnight. Low temperatures around 44-49 degrees.
Winds turning southeast around 10-15 mph.

High: F  Low: 44-49F 

Saturday  (Oct 03, 2009)
Widespread rain throughout the day. High temperatures around 55-60 degrees.
East winds around 5-10 mph. Rain diminishes through the overnight hours. Low
temperatures around 49-54 degrees. Light south winds.

High: 55-60F  Low: 49-54F 

Sunday  (Oct 04, 2009)
Starting off with a mix of sun and clouds. Clearing throughout the afternoon.
High temperatures around 64-69 degrees. Light south winds. Clearing overnight.
Low temperatures around 44-49 degrees.

High: 64-69F  Low: 44-49F
