LSC Northeast Kingdom Forecast Student Meteorologist: Timothy Studebaker Forecast Posted on Thursday Nov 12, 2009 18:47 ** The latest forecast for Northeastern Vermont ** ** including Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex Counties ** Forecast Discussion: A strong area of high pressure that has been in place for several days now will remain in control for one more day, bringing us dry and mostly clear conditions overnight tonight through Friday. The remnants of what was Hurricane Ida are very slowly approaching the area, providing a few high clouds. Friday evening, clouds will be on the increase as the remnants continue to approach. Saturday, rain will move in and will stick around through Sunday morning, totaling about 0.5” to 1”. Sunday, the rain will end, but clouds will stick around through the morning.
