Forecast Discussion:
We're in between two low pressure systems on Thursday. A trough connecting the
two is moving overhead, and as a result we've seen plenty of cloud cover and
some flurries around the Kingdom. The trough moves over us overnight Thursday
into Friday, bringing scattered light snow showers to the area. Very light
accumulations are expected with not more than a dusting in the valleys, and a
few tenths of an inch up to a half inch are possible in upper elevations. Once
the trough passes through, high pressure sets in for the weekend, giving us a
cool day with clearing skies on Friday. We warm up throughout the weekend, with
mostly sunny skies. Late Saturday, a weak cold front could brush the area,
which would touch off some clouds and a few showers. Otherwise, we continue to
see mostly sunny skies right into the beginning of the work week as high
pressure remains in control.


Thursday Night (Nov 05, 2009)
Cloudy with scattered light snow showers. No more than a dusting in the valleys
with a few tenths to a half inch accumulations in higher elevations. Breezy
north winds around 10-15 mph. Lows around 25-30 degrees.

Mostly cloudy with a few lingering light snow showers in the morning. Clearing
out as the day progresses. Breezy north winds around 10-15 mph. Highs around
33-39 degrees.

Mostly clear with a few passing clouds. Northwest winds around 5-10 mph. Colder
with lows around 21-26 degrees.

Saturday  (Nov 07, 2009)
Mostly sunny during the day with highs around 40-45 degrees. Overnight, a
passing weak cold front could touch off some clouds and showers. Lows around
24-29 degrees.

Sunday  (Nov 08, 2009)
Mostly sunny with highs around 46-51 degrees. Mostly clear overnight with lows
around 25-30.
