Combs Forecast Posted on Monday Nov 2, 2009 11:29 ** The latest forecast for Northeastern Vermont ** ** including Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex Counties ** Forecast Discussion: After a rainy Saturday, we will see a return to average conditions across the Kingdom for the start of the week. High pressure to our North will dominate Monday's forecast with mostly sunny skies and calming winds. A system to the West, however, will makes its approach and bring isolated rain showers for the later half of Tuesday afternoon, transitioning to a combination of rain and snow showers for the early parts of Wednesday morning. The valley areas should see up to a dusting from this system, whereas higher elevations could see as much as one inch of snow. The system will move out on Wednesday leaving another area of high pressure and sunny skies to control the weather heading into the second half of the week. High: F Low: 29 to 34F Tuesday Afternoon (Nov 03, 2009) Increasing clouds during the afternoon, then isolated rain showers into the evening. Light Southwest winds. High: 40 to 45F Low: F Tuesday Night (Nov 03, 2009) Rain showers transitioning to a rain/snow shower mix. Light winds. Accumulation amounts of a dusting in valley areas, and up to an inch possible in highest elevations of the Kingdom. High: F Low: 26 to 31F Wednesday Afternoon (Nov 04, 2009) Mostly sunny.
