LSC Northeast Kingdom Forecast Student Meteorologist: Garrett D. Combs Forecast Posted on Friday May 1, 2009 10:00 ** The latest forecast for Northeast** ** including Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex Counties** Forecast Discussion: A variety of springtime weather will make the first weekend of May here in the Kingdom an interesting one. A cold front to the west will edge its way on east, bringing showers and a few embedded thunderstorms for the majority of Friday. These showers will last into the overnight hours before dying off, as the cold front pushes through by Saturday morning. As the front exits, expect a much-drier and cooler Saturday afternoon, before another cold front begins to push through the area. This front will lift to the north of us though, creating just a chance for an isolated shower late Saturday night, setting up for a beautiful and clear Sunday with seasonable temperatures and lighter winds.
