LSC Northeast Kingdom Forecast Student Meteorologist: Jeff Bonneau Forecast Posted on Tuesday Mar 31, 2009 08:34 ** The latest forecast for Northeast** ** including Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex Counties** Forecast Discussion: The past couple days have been on the dreary side as a low pressure system passed off to our south and eventually moved off the coast giving us a little bit of rain and even a few wet snow flakes last night. We can expect cloudy skies this morning becoming partly to mostly sunny by this afternoon as a weak area of high pressure will build into the area bringing us clear skies for tonight and the beginning of the day tomorrow. However, during the afternoon hours we can expect a weak warm front to push through the area touching off a couple showers, bringing back those clouds and dreary conditions. It looks like Thursday will be yet another grey day with another low pressure system working its way across the country bringing us more rain showers. This is the same system that brought blizzard conditions and heavy rain to the midwest, but it will be substantially weaker by the time it moves on into our area for Thursday.
