LSC Northeast Kingdom Forecast Student Meteorologist: Garrett D. Combs Forecast Posted on Friday Mar 20, 2009 09:23 ** The latest forecast for Northeast** ** including Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex Counties** Forecast Discussion: Sunny skies and cool temperatures will headline the first weekend of Spring here in the Kingdom. An upper level trough will keep temperatures on the cooler side for Friday, while surface high pressure generates clear skies all through the weekend. Once the trough moves through, temperatures will warm up for Saturday, making it a great day for any outdoor activities under blue, clear skies. A weak area of low pressure to the North will pass by Saturday night, and with a trailing cold front, an isolated flurry or 2 on Sunday morning is not out of the question. Once this passes, Canadian high pressure and cloudy skies will dominate for Sunday into the start of your work week. Have a great weekend. Friday Afternoon (Mar 20, 2009) Clear skies.
