LSC Northeast Kingdom Forecast Student Meteorologist: Matthew DiPirro Forecast Posted on Thursday Mar 19, 2009 10:17 ** The latest forecast for Northeast** ** including Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex Counties** Forecast Discussion: After a few days of gloomy weather, the Northeast Kingdom will jump right back into a stretch of beautiful weather over the next several days. As a cold front moves through today, it will usher in colder and drier air for the remainder of this week. Luckily by Friday, high pressure will build in and bring plentiful sunshine through Saturday. Temperatures will warm each afternoon to either side of 40 and nighttime lows will stay chilly in the teens. Remember that Friday is the first day of Spring! This is known as the Vernal Equinox and occurs when the sun is directly above the equator. Thursday Afternoon (Mar 19, 2009) Mostly sunny with more clouds towards late afternoon and evening. Daytime highs will occur in the early afternoon and will fall by evening. Northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph.
