LSC Northeast Kingdom Forecast Student Meteorologist: Matthew DiPirro Forecast Posted on Thursday Apr 30, 2009 10:16 ** The latest forecast for Northeast** ** including Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex Counties** Forecast Discussion: After a couple of midweek days filled with sunshine, the high pressure responsible for the nice weather will be replaced by an brief unsettled pattern that will plague the Kingdom through this early this weekend. Moist, southerly flow will develop tonight into tomorrow as a warm front approaches from the southwest. A well organized batch of steady rainfall will move in tonight and lingering showers will persist throughout the day on Friday. A cold front will then move through Friday night and this will give way to mostly cloudy skies to start Saturday followed by increasing sunshine in the afternoon. Keep in mind there is an elevated fire danger this afternoon as winds will be gusty with dry conditions.
