LSC Northeast Kingdom Forecast Student Meteorologist: Matt Clegg Forecast Posted on Monday Apr 27, 2009 09:35 ** The latest forecast for Northeast** ** including Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex Counties** Forecast Discussion: The 70 and 80 degree temperatures we saw this past Friday and Saturday will be returning to the area for today and tomorrow. This will be short lived as a cold front associated with an area of low pressure that will track to our northwest will be passing through the region Tuesday afternoon. This cold front combined with daytime heating, wind shear and terrain effects will spark off showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and early evening hours. Most areas should at least hear a "rumble of thunder" tomorrow. There is also a slight chance of some of these storms producing small hail.
