LSC Northeast Kingdom Forecast Student Meteorologist: Matthew DiPirro Forecast Posted on Thursday Apr 2, 2009 10:27 ** The latest forecast for Northeast** ** including Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex Counties** Forecast Discussion: After a taste of beautiful Spring weather on Thursday, the Northeast Kingdom will once again enter into an unsettled pattern to finish out the week. Expect high pressure to make way for a moisture laden low pressure system that will impact New England through Saturday. Rain, possibly heavy at time Friday evening, will persist into Saturday morning and eventually taper to showers by the afternoon. Since we will see locally up to an inch of rainfall through this weekend and more rainfall expected next week, forecasters will be keeping a close eye on area streams and rivers as snowmelt continues in the higher elevations.
