** The latest forecast for Northeast**
** including Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex Counties**

Forecast Discussion:
Scattered snow storms have been popping up everywhere across the North Country
this afternoon reducing visibility to near blizzard conditions at times.
Although these storms are generally quick moving and dissipate rapidly they may
contribute another inch to snow pack totals. These storms will stick with the
region throughout the afternoon and into the evening hours allowing road
conditions to become treacherous at times. Ultimately tonight skies will clear
allowing low temperatures to reach the lower single digits. Northeast Kingdom
weather will continue to remain unsettled on Monday with the entrance of a new
low pressure system. This system may allow for some southern areas to
experience freezing rain or sleet, however, much of the precipitation will
remain as light snow for the northern and higher elevation regions.

Mostly clear overnight with much colder temperatures. Winds Northwest 5 to
10mph.

High: -F  Low: 2 to 6F 

Sunday Afternoon (Dec 09, 2007)
Partly Cloudy skies with clouds increasing throughout the day. Winds west calm
to 5 mph.

High: 24 to 28F  Low: -F 

Sunday Night (Dec 09, 2007)
Cloudy with increasing snow showers. Some may begin as sleet or freezing rain.
Winds southwest calm to 5mph.

High: -F  Low: 15 to 20F 

Monday  (Dec 10, 2007)
Cloudy. Most areas will experience snow with some mixing at lower and southern
elevations. Winds west at 5mph.

High: 28 to 33F  Low: 8 to 12F 

Tuesday  (Dec 11, 2007)
Cloudy with the chance for snow shower.

High: 20 to 25F  Low: 8 to 15F
