The Profiler Demonstration Network (VHF Profilers)

• Installation of the Wind Profiler Demonstration Network (WPDN) was completed by mid 1990.  The network was developed and is maintained by NOAA.
•  Currently, there are 32 profilers in the network, 29 of them are located in the Central U.S.  
• This is what a profiler looks like.
